Man hurt in Barrow attack

[S]uspects are sought in relation to a serious assault that occurred outside of The Cross Keys licensed premises on William Street, Barrow at approximately 12:30am on Sunday 13/08/17.

Two men have been drinking within the premises and become involved in an altercation with a couple inside. This has spread outside and a man has been injured, he suffered a broken rib.

The men sought are described as:

Male 1: white, late 20s to early 30s, stocky build with short mousey brown hair, wearing an orange t-shirt with stripes across the sleeves.

Male 2: white, approximately 40 years old, stocky build and short grey hair and wearing a blue t-shirt.

Anyone with information about this incident or either of the men described is urged to contact police referencing incident 141 of 13 August 2017.
