[C]oming to Egremont’s Florence Arts Centre on Saturday 2nd September is award-winning Irish-Iranian comic Patrick Monahan.
After success at the Edinburgh Fringe over the past ten years, Monahan went on to win TV’s Show Me The Funny and has appeared on Let’s Dance for Comic Relief and the celebrity diving spectacular Splash!. He’s a regular at comedy clubs and festivals up and down the country, and recently played to a sell-out crowd at Workington’s Carnegie Theatre – now is your chance to get up-close-and-personal at another of Florence’s popular comedy nights.
Also on the bill will be Manchester’s Freddie Quinne, a regular at Jason Manford’s comedy club and the evening will be hosted by local legend John Lebbon.
Florence’s regular comedy nights are always a sell-out – recent gigs have included the likes of Justin Moorhouse (from TV’s Phoenix Nights), Junior Simpson, panel show regular and host Nish Kumar, Martin Mor and the uniquely Cumbrian Dicky Dippinson. Get your tickets now to be sure of another hilarious night of brilliant comedy at this West Cumbrian venue.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from the venue in person, by phone on 01946 824946 or online at www.florenceartscentre.com
