Carlisle MP to hold Transport for the North meeting

[D]avid Brown, the Chief Executive of Transport for the North, is visiting Carlisle tomorrow, to see the issues on the A595 and A69 first-hand.

John Stevenson MP will be giving Mr Brown at tour of the key issues on these roads and has also organised a roundtable discussion with the key stakeholders in the area.

John said: “I am very pleased that the Chief Executive of Transport for the North is visiting Carlisle to see the issues for himself.

“I am also pleased that he is taking the time to meet with local representatives to discuss potential solutions to these issues.”

The roundtable discussion will be taking place at Carlisle Airport Distribution Centre on 23rd August 2017.
