Death of Ulverston man “non-suspicious”

[P]olice have confirmed that the sudden death of a man found at a property on Weston Avenue in Ulverston is being treated as non-suspicious.

Emergency services attended the address at approximately 1.10am on August 24th, when the man was found deceased.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “Due to initial concerns that there may be unknown substances at the address, precautions were taken to mitigate any potential hazards.

“Items seized from the Ulverston property have been sent for testing and are currently being examined.

“We would like to thank the residents of Weston Avenue for their patience while enquiries were carried out.

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased.”
