[A] WOMAN will stand trial after she denied taking part in a violent Carlisle attack.
Samantha Lindsey Woodhead, 30, appeared at the city’s crown court today (MON).
During a short hearing in front of Judge Peter Davies, Woodhead denied a charge which alleges that she unlawfully and maliciously caused Michael Dutton grievous bodily harm with intent.
Woodhead also pleaded not guilty to an allegation of attempting to cause Ryan Gibbons grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both charges relate to alleged incidents in the Carlisle city centre on August 12.
Woodhead, of Parkside, Carlisle, was told she will go on trial at the crown court in the week of November 13. It is estimated the hearing will last three to four days.
In the meantime, Woodhead was granted conditional bail by Judge Davies.
