The Health Architect to bring healthy inspiration to this year’s Taste Cockermouth

[L]ocal nutrition expert, Sarah Kekus of the Health Architect, will be rousing this year’s Taste Cockermouth festivalgoers with a host of healthy inspiration.

Offering both ticketed master classes and free demonstrations on both days of Taste Cumbria’s flagship event, Sarah will educate audiences on sustainable ways to eat healthily without compromising on taste.

Packed with fresh and tasty ideas, Sarah’s ticketed master classes will delve into the art of healthy eating, exploring ‘What a nutritionist really eats’. Sharing her secrets, Sarah will offer advice on the different food groups, their nutritional values and how these affect the body with suggestions on how to make the most of simple and inexpensive foods.

These will be followed later in the day with a free demonstration, live within the Main Street marquee. A programme highlight, the free ‘Kitchen Shortcuts’ demonstration will equip the audience with knowledge on how to implement a healthy lifestyle without the need for spending hours in the kitchen. Bulk breakfast preps, flavoursome shortcuts and time saving vegetable tricks will ensure guests leave inspired to commence a future healthier lifestyle.

Sarah said: “I am delighted to return for a second year to Taste Cockermouth 2017’s exciting catalogue of foodie events. I hope to demystify the art of healthy eating and offer practical advice on eating well – raising awareness that healthy foods can be delicious and look exciting without being time consuming.”

The Heath Architect’s master class sessions take place at 11.00am on both days of the festival, Saturday 24th September and Sunday 25th September at Cockermouth Kitchen Company on Market Place. Tickets cost £10.00 and are available from: http://tastecumbria.com/buy-tickets/.

The Health Architect’s ‘Kitchen Shortcut’ demonstrations also take place on both days, within the Main Street marquee at 2.00pm and are free of charge to attend.
