[A]t 1:27pm today, Friday 15 September firefighters were called to a large barn fire on Rakesmoor Lane, Barrow-in-Furness.
Crews, from Barrow, Broughton, Grange, Millom and two from Ulverston are currently at the incident.
The incident involves the barn, hay and machinery.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, are currently using two main jets, two ground monitors and foam to fight the fire.
“Two firefighters have been into the barn to remove some gas cylinders which were inside.
“Police have closed the road and local people are being advised to remain indoors with their windows and doors shut.”
