Carlisle road blocked after four-vehicle crash

[P]OLICE were called at 8.23am this morning to reports of a four-vehicle road traffic collision on the junction of Lismore Place / Victoria Place, Carlisle.

The collision involved a Honda, driven by Carlisle woman, a Ford Transit pick-up van, driven by man from Lancashire, a Vauxhall Corsa driven by man from Carlisle and a Seat Ibiza (driver not from area).

Police and ambulance attended with traffic being directed away from the accident scene.

No one suffered any serious injuries.

The road reopened at 9:08am.
