[A] person has been cut from the wreckage after a two-vehicle road traffic collision occurred in Kendal.
Police were called at 8.50pm on Sunday 24 September to reports of a collision on Burton Road, Kendal.
The collision involved a red Renault Clio, driven by 25-year-old Kendal man and Hyundai, driven by 44-year-old with two passengers.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 8:58 firefighters were called to a road traffic collision between two vehicles on Burton Road, Kendal.
“One casualty was extracted from a car using holmatro cutting equipment.
“Crews, from Kendal and Milnthorpe, were at the scene for one hour and a half.”
The road was closed and re-opened by 11.08pm.
It’s believed their injuries are not life-threatening.
