[A]t 9:12pm yesterday Tuesday 26 September firefighters were called to a fire in a kitchen of a property on Millholme Avenue, Carlisle.
Crews, from Carlisle West and Carlisle East, found a quantity of rubbish on fire on a hob on arrival.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus removed the rubbish from the property.
“One casualty was treated for smoke inhalation and crews used a large fan to remove smoke from the property.
“They were at the scene for 40 minutes.”
