Police probe race hate crime in Carlisle park

[P]olice are investigating a hate incident that took place at Bitts Park in Carlisle at approximately 3pm on 24th September.

The report is of one young male in a group of young males shouting racial abuse at a man with his young child.

Cumbria Constabulary takes such incident extremely seriously and officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information which would assist.

Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting incident number 187 of 24th September and ask to speak to PC 1911 McDicken. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
