Police appeal after car torched in Carlisle

[P]olice are investigating a case of arson where a green Rover 25 was set on fire on Thursday 5th October between 5am and 6am.

The incident took place at Lightfoot Drive in Carlisle. A male described as medium build, wearing a dark hooded top with dark hair was seen running away from the scene towards the direction of Blundell Road.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.”
