Police probe attempted robbery in Denton Holme, Carlisle

[P]olice are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred in Denton Holme, Carlisle.

The incident occurred at approximately 6.40pm yesterday (Friday 6th October).

A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were walking along Denton Street, from Bousteads Grassing heading in the direction of North Street, when three men approached and threatened them with violence for their money and belongings.

The two victims were uninjured and nothing was stolen.

The suspects are described as:

  • Male one: Approximately 18 years old, 5ft 3 inches tall, of a stocky muscular build. He was wearing a black cap, dark clothing and a blue Adidas jacket.
  • Male two: Approximately 15 years old, between 4ft and 5ft tall, of skinny build, pale complexion and has blonde hair. He was wearing a khaki grey zip-up hoody and navy tracksuit bottoms.
  • Male three: Older than the other two suspects, 6ft tall, wearing a black/navy Lonsdale jacket.
