[A] man has been charged after North West Counter Terrorism officers searched a property in Barrow.
Leroy McCarthy, (17/11/1994), of Hall Street in Barrow has been charged with improper use of a public electronic communications network under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.
He will appear at Barrow in Furness Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 9 October 2017).
On Saturday 7 October 2017, officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North West and Cumbria Police attended an address on Hall Street in Barrow, Cumbria.
A man in his 20s was arrested and a property was searched.
