[P]olice have confirmed that Abigail Fox was found safe and well in the Penrith area of Cumbria on Wednesday (18 Oct) evening.
Abigail Fox, 31, from Gainsborough Court, was last seen in Skipton town centre on Saturday afternoon (14 October 2017).
Her concerned family called North Yorkshire Police on Monday morning (16 October) to report her missing.
From the initial police enquiries, the missing person investigation was treated as medium risk as it was not unusual for Abigail to stay away with friends and there were no apparent concerns for her safety.
However, 72 hours on, it was re-classified as high-risk as there has been no contact from Abigail and no sign of her. This includes her presence on social media and bank account activity.
Abigail had a mobile phone but she did not have a charger with her. It is also believed she had very little or no cash on her when she went missing.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “Thank you to the media and public for sharing the appeal to find Abigail. It is greatly appreciated.”
