[A]re you an experienced administrator looking for an exciting new challenge with a busy and ambitious non-profit organisation? Cumbria Action for Sustainability, based in Penrith, is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic administration officer to cover maternity leave.
You’ll be at the heart of a busy team working hard to reduce Cumbria’s carbon footprint through all sorts of interesting projects and activities. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties supporting everything we do, from finances to events, and you’ll be the first point of contact for our callers and visitors, running our reception function.
You’ll help keep our finances straight, processing invoices, managing our banking and administering our payroll and other HR tasks. We run lots of events and training courses, and you’ll support this important part of our work, from sorting venues to managing delegate bookings. We’ll also rely on you to keep our filing in order and administer our team meetings.
It’s a part-time role of 22-24 hours a week, which would be worked between Tuesday and Friday (some flexibility on this may be possible), until the end of August 2018. Ideally, we’d like someone to start within the next month or so.
The salary is £16,000 to £18,000 FTE (pro rata).
So, is this the kind of super opportunity you could be tempted by? Head over to our website for full details about the role and an application form: www.cafs.org.uk/jobs
