Man found dead, woman critical in Seaton

[P]olice are investigating the sudden death of a man in the Seaton area.

Officers were called by the Ambulance Service at 12.36pm today (October 22nd), after they attended a property on High Seaton where a man and woman had become unwell.

The 67-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman, aged 70, has been taken to the West Cumberland Hospital in a critical condition.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and the Coroner will be informed.

The road has been closed while officers carry out enquiries.
