[P]artnerships and Collaboration will be the main themes at the upcoming Cumbria CVS Annual General Meeting which will take place on Thursday 9 November 2017 at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal from 9.30am – 12.30pm.
The event will start at 9.30am with an opportunity for local groups and attendees to network over tea and coffee. This will be followed by the formal business of the AGM including the election of new trustees and a quick look back at achievements, challenges and successes over the last 12 months, with a closing summary by HM Lord Lieutenant of Cumbria, Mrs Claire Hensman.
The event will continue with a presentation by Dr David F Murphy, Deputy Director, Institute for Leadership and Sustainability (IFLAS) & Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management & Collaboration, Department of Business, Law, Policing and Social Sciences, University of Cumbria, on successful Partnerships and Collaboration.
This presentation will lead to the launch the new three year Strategic Plan of the organisation, by the new Chief Executive Officer of Cumbria CVS, Laura Cadman, which has a clear focus on partnerships and working together.
