Man hurt in Gosforth attack

[P]olice are appealing for witnesses following the report of an assault. The incident occurred in the grounds of the Wheatsheaf Inn, Gosforth, on Friday, 20th October 2017, at around 2:30pm.

The victim, a local man, received minor injuries including a cut lip and swelling.

The alleged offender is described as a white male with a pale complexion, 6 feet tall, slim build, short greying hair, aged mid 40s, speaking with a north east accent, and driving a blue Peugeot.
