Appeal after bag stolen on Lancaster to Oxenholme train

Police want to speak to this man

[C]CTV images of a man are today being released in connection to a bag theft from a train at Lancaster station.

The incident happened at approximately 3pm on Wednesday 4 October.

A woman had placed her bag in the luggage rack at Wigan North Western, when she went to leave the train at Oxenholme she saw the bag was missing.

CCTV enquiries showed that the bag was taken by a man when the train was at Lancaster station.

Officers are now releasing CCTV images in connection to this investigation. If you know the man shown, please contact officers as he might have vital information which could help.
