Caravan destroyed in Silloth blaze

At 8:52pm yesterday, Tuesday 31 October firefighters were called to a fire in a caravan on Skinburness Drive, Silloth.

One fire engine from Silloth and one from Aspatria attended the incident.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews used a hose reel jet and a drag rake to extinguish the fire.

“The caravan was completely destroyed in the incident.”
