Police appeal after pedestrian hurt in Carlisle collision

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed an incident on Junction Street, Carlisle on Thursday 29th June 2017.

A car collided with a woman as she crossed over the road from the Post Office.

The vehicle in question had its wing mirror knocked off in the process, stopped briefly but left the scene without exchanging details.

A number of people stopped at the scene to assist the injured woman who suffered a leg injury in the collision.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or assisted the woman afterwards.
