[S]peciality Cumbrian coffee roasters, Carvetii will be appearing alongside top Italian coffee machine importer, VA Machinery at this weekend’s Manchester Coffee Festival (4th-5th November).
Carvetii has secured an exclusive contract with VA Machinery, which will see them become an approved supplier of Victoria Arduino coffee machines in the north of England.
Victoria Arduino was established in Italy in 1905 and produces some of the world’s finest quality and most technologically advanced espresso coffee machines. Their machines are used by the world’s best baristas and are the official partner of the World Barista Championships.
Cumbria’s Carvetii Coffee is one of only a handful of speciality UK coffee roasters chosen by VA Machinery to distribute the machines on their behalf.
Gareth Kemble, owner & co-founder at Carvetii, said: “We’re honoured to have been selected by VA Machinery to sell their machines. We know how important it is to invest in the best quality equipment and, over the last couple of years the quality of kit being sold in Cumbria is definitely moving in the right direction.
“We’ve invested in a brand new range of VA Machinery to help drive up standards in Cumbria and for training in our roaster, and they really are stylish, stunning pieces of kit. We’re looking forward to showing them off to our customers as well as being able to offer unique customisation options to make sure our customers continue to stand out from the competition.
“Cumbria is quite rightly recognised as a top destination for food and we want to drive this expectation through into speciality coffee too. People come here from places like London, Manchester and Edinburgh where they are used to getting excellent coffee from great baristas. We want them to come to Cumbria expecting fantastic coffee as well as fantastic food.”
The Manchester Coffee Festival takes place this weekend at the city’s Victoria Warehouse. Carvetii will be serving their espresso blend as well as a single origin espresso from Guatemala.
