Appeal to trace victim and witnesses after bottle thrown at pensioner on Newcastle to Carlisle train

[W]ere you travelling on a Northern Rail train between Newcastle and Carlisle on Sunday, 5 November?

Sometime between 3.10pm and 4.45pm an elderly man reported being verbally abused by a group of men on the train.

He later had a bottle thrown at him by the same group while travelling between Brampton and Carlisle.

The group of six were aged between 20 and 28, some were bearded and were carrying luggage.
