Concern for missing Whitehaven man

[P]olice are concerned for a man who has gone missing from the Whitehaven area.

Jamie Johnstone, aged 25, from Whitehaven, has been missing since 11am this morning (14th November)  when he was seen walking towards the harbour-side. There has been an unconfirmed sighting of him at 2.30pm in Market Place.

He is described as being white, 5ft 9 inches tall, of stocky build, with short ginger hair. He was last seen wearing a grey Slazenger hooded-top, grey Nike jogging bottoms and dark blue Adidas trainers. He may also be wearing a black woolly hat.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch by calling 101. Police also ask Mr Johnstone, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch to let us know he is safe and well.
