66th Annual Brampton to Carlisle Road Race

[A] bright crisp Sunday morning saw more that 500 runners converge on the market town of Brampton for the 66th annual Brampton to Carlisle 10 mile Road Race, officially the oldest 10 mile road race in Britain, which is organised by Border Harriers athletics club.

The event started near to William Howard School on Longtown Road in Brampton and followed the A689 for most of its journey before finishing at the Sands Centre in Carlisle.
