Levens’ Hare & Hounds hailed the ‘Pub of the Year 2017’

[T]he Hare & Hounds in Levens, Cumbria has been named ‘Pub of the Year 2017’ in South Lakeland at Lux Magazine’s annual Food and Drink Awards.

The second annual Food and Drink Awards hosted by Lux Magazine, saw the Hare & Hounds awarded South Lakeland’s ‘Pub of the Year 2017’ in recognition of its family run ethos, great service and range of produce available.

The Lux Magazine’s Food and Drink Awards recognise and reward companies who are providing the public with outstanding levels of produce and service within the industry.  The performance of a business is evaluated for 12 months to ensure that only the most deserving are given the prestigious awards.

Becky Dewar, owner at Hare & Hounds said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been given such an accolade.  We work incredibly hard to provide our customers with a warm welcome, great atmosphere, delicious drinks and (proper good) food so to be recognised for this is just wonderful.”
