Biker hurt in Barrow fail-to-stop collision

Police are investigating a fail-to-stop injury road traffic collision that occurred on Salthouse Road, Barrow In Furness around 08:00hrs on Wednesday 6th December 2017.

A motorcycle has been travelling west along Salthouse Rd when a red BMW driven by a blond haired female has pulled out of Foundry Street in to the path of the motorcyclist.

The rider has been forced to brake and having skidded fell to the ground sustaining injury to his leg. There has been no contact between the two vehicles but the driver of the BMW has failed to stop.

Anybody with information that may assist in identifying the driver of the BMW is asked to contact the police referencing the incident number
