Casket containing husband’s ashes stolen in burglary

A burglary occurred on Monday, December 4, 2017 at a house on Robsons Way in Amble.

The offender forced entry into the premises before stealing jewellery and a wooden casket A4 size containing the ashes of the victim’s husband.

Clearly the theft of the casket is causing considerable distress to the family and they appeal for the return of the casket.

The photograph is of the same colour and style of casket, there is a brass name plate attached to the top.
