Christmas hampers for West Cumberland A&E staff

First year students on the nurse cadets programme at Lakes College have been making homemade cakes and other goodies to raise money for the ward four staff in the A and E department at West Cumberland Hospital.

As part of their study programme, the cadets complete work placements with the NHS, gaining experience in different hospitals or departments across Cumbria.

The hampers included various items including: bath products, biscuits, food, drink and much more. They are a festive way of saying a massive thank you to the staff for all they help and advice they have given the nurse cadets on their programme.
