[A]t 11:37pm yesterday, Saturday 30 December firefighters attended a fire involving a microwave at an address on Devon Street, Barrow.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “They used breathing apparatus and a hose reel while extinguishing the fire.
“They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hot spots and used a large fan to disperse the smoke.
“One casualty was given oxygen and handed over to paramedics.”
