Police appeal after theft from Barrow Co-op

[P]olice are investigating the theft of a quantity of cigarettes and a greetings card from the Co-op store on Oxford Street in Barrow at 7.15am on Wednesday 3 January 2018.

The total value of goods taken was £161.20.

The male suspect was described as at least late 50s in age, of average height and build, and he was wearing a black or dark navy anorak with dark trousers and a pale grey or blue beanie-style hat.

He had a brown hessian-type bag with him. The male appeared to be a little confused and his identity is currently unknown.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police referencing incident 42 of 3 January 2017.
