[T]HREE men have admitted involvement in a Carlisle class A drug supply plot.
Mark Eric Libby, Jose Mboma and Brendan Laverick, all appeared in the dock at the city’s crown court.
During a short hearing in front of Recorder Julie Clemitson, Mboma and Laverick both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine. The crime is said to have been committed between New Year’s Day and November 2 last year.
Mboma, 21, of Green Pasture Close, Leeds, also admitted possessing criminal property – cash – on November 1.
The court heard 27-year-old Libby, of Shaddongate, Carlisle, had pleaded guilty to the cocaine conspiracy charge at an earlier crown court hearing.
All three men will be sentenced for their offending on a future date. Bases of plea are expected to be put forward and considered by the prosecution in due course.
Libby was granted bail by Recorder Clemitson, while 22-year-old Laverick, of Caslin Way, Carlisle, and Mboma were both remanded in custody.
