[W]hitehaven Medical Centre has had to cancel some non-emergency appointments this week. Arrangements have been made to resume normal service next week.
A spokesman for NHS North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group said: “The GP is unavailable to work at the moment but provisions for medical cover are being put in place.
“In the meantime patients at this practice are being reminded that if they need urgent medical advice to contact the surgery as usual.
“Pharmacists and the NHS 111 service continue to be available for advice.”
