Cordon in place due to dangerous structure in Carlisle

[A]t 10:35am today, Wednesday 24 January firefighters were called to reports of a dangerous structure on Rickergate, Carlisle.

Firefighters attended the scene and found that a number of roof tiles had blown off the roof of the Magistrates Court.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “A safety cordon has been put in place as a precautionary measure and maintenance personnel have been called to the site.”
