[P]olice are investigating a fail-to-stop road traffic collision which occurred on Tuesday 16th January 2018 at 8.10am.
A black Vauxhall was travelling along Duke Street, Barrow in Furness, with the driver and a young child in the car.
When the car reached the junction of Blake Street, a silver hatchback vehicle failed to stop at the junction, colliding with the black Vauxhall.
Fortunately no one in the vehicle received any injuries however extensive damage was caused.
The silver hatchback then failed to stop at the scene driving away down Blake Street at speed.
Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw any similar vehicles in the area at the time.
