[A]t 3:31pm today, Tuesday 30 January two fire engines from Carlisle East and Carlisle West were called to reports of a kitchen fire on Broomy Hill, Aglionby.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “The fire was out on arrival however, crews assisted a casualty who was suffering from smoke inhalation.
“The casualty has since been passed to the care of North West Ambulance Service.
“Crews were in attendance at the scene for approximately 40 minutes.”
