Police link Windermere burglaries

[P]olice are investigating two reports of burglaries in Windermere which are suspected to be linked.

At around 12:30am on Thursday 1 February 2018, a glass door at Little Brogues on Birch Street, Windermere, was smashed with a rock.

The offender entered the premises but no property was taken.

On the same night a glass door pane at the Age UK charity store on Main Street, Windermere was smashed.

The offender then entered the premises and stole a safe and computer equipment before leaving through a rear door.

Police are appealing for anyone able to provide information to contact police referencing incident 59 of 1 February 2018.
