[A] CARLISLE man who denies theft, intimidation and knife possession allegations will stand trial later this year.
Alistair David Pape, 35, faced three charges when he appeared at the city’s crown court over a video link from Durham prison.
Pape denied both the alleged intimidation of Lee Paul Laurie on November 3, and also a charge alleging the possession of an article with a blade or point at Highfield Avenue in Carlisle on the same date.
In addition, Pape pleaded not guilty to the alleged theft of cash from Mr Laurie on October 11.
A trial, estimated to last three days, is due to start at the crown court on March 26.
In the meantime Pape, of Central Avenue, Carlisle, was remanded in custody.
