Carlisle man crashes car on Georgian Way

A man has escaped injured after a one-vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the southbound carriageway of Georgian Way in Carlisle.

A car overturned after crashing through the railings outside the Wickes store.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 12.57pm following a one vehicle road traffic collision.

“A Vauxhall Vectra was driven by a 23-year-old man from Carlisle.

“There are no reported injuries.”
