Meat worth £4,000 and charity boxes stolen in Borrowdale and Buttermere

Police are appealing for information following a spate of burglaries and thefts in rural areas of Allerdale.

On the morning of Monday 19th February 2018 between midnight and 4am, offenders have entered a number of garages, outbuildings, commercial premises and motor vehicles in the areas of Borrowdale and the Buttermere valleys.

The list of items stolen include £4000 of meat and two charity boxes, amongst others.
