[B]en Moffat, an Operations Manager at one of Cumbria’s leading accountancy firms, Lamont Pridmore, is celebrating having qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Ben has been with Lamont Pridmore for the last six years, working out of its office in Kendal providing support to a wide range of businesses.
He previously sat and completed the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and after passing a further 14 exams and completing 36 months of time in practice he has now achieved the prestigious ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification.
This qualification was completed alongside his daily work within the busy firm with the support of his colleagues at Lamont Pridmore.
Speaking about his achievement, Ben said: “I am delighted to have finally completed my ACCA qualifications, but much of this wouldn’t have been achievable without the support of my colleagues at Lamont Pridmore. The firm as a whole has always been by my side to help wherever possible.”
Lamont Pridmore has a long and proud history of supporting talented young professionals who are seeking qualification with professional bodies, such as the ACCA and ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales).
Graham Lamont, Chief Executive of Lamont Pridmore, said: “On behalf of everyone at Lamont Pridmore I would like to congratulate Ben on achieving his ACCA qualification. These exams are extremely tough and require many hours of independent study alongside what can already be a very challenging and demanding profession.
“We take great pride in the support we provide to our staff and this can be seen in the results they achieve for our clients.”
