[G]audium Ltd, who provide Domiciliary Care and Day Centre services for older adults in the community are a finalist in the national Healthinvestor Awards for the third year in a row.
The HealthInvestor Awards promote excellence and recognise innovation in the independent healthcare sector, and successful entries are shortlisted on the awards website before being sent to an independent panel of high profile judges.
With over 150 companies involved, and more than 1,200 guests on the night of the awards, the HealthInvestor Awards 2017 was the biggest event of the year for the health industry, with this year set to be no less impressive. Director of Gaudium Mariusz Waluk is thrilled, and hopes that this third year will be the one for Gaudium.
“We were nominated for Best Domiciliary Care Provider in 2016 and got through to the finals, and in 2017 we became finalists in two categories, Best Domiciliary Care Provider and Best Community Support Provider.
“This year we are finalists in both categories again, and I really hope that this year we might come away with an award. The staff work so hard and make the company what it is, and care work takes a special kind of person to be able to cope with the stresses that come with it both physically and mentally and still be relaxed and breezy to help clients and brighten their day.
“They form a wonderful team and I hope this year they get the recognition they deserve. We’re so happy to have got this far, and especially three years in a row but fingers crossed that this is our year!”
