[B]irmingham Stage Company, the acclaimed producers of the hit David Walliams play GANGSTA GRANNY, are looking for a female dancer, of around 18 years old, to play a small but important part in the show when it plays at The Sands Centre from Wednesday 27 to Saturday 30 June as part of its current UK tour.
Neal Foster, the show’s director, said today: “This is a really good opportunity for a young dancer just starting in the profession to get a great addition to her CV as well as gain valuable on stage experience acting with a professional company in a show rated 4 stars by national critics. We envisage full houses at the The Sands Centre so the girl chosen will have a week to remember, dancing a solo in front of huge enthusiastic audiences. Whoever is selected will find it a wonderful and unforgettable experience!”
Any female dancers interested in being considered should email a demo video of herself performing a short modern/disco piece to [email protected]
The chosen dancer will be sent a video of the 2 minute dance she will be performing in the show so she can learn the choreography. She will be expected to perform in all Gangsta Granny performances, both daytimes and evenings, at The Sands Centre across the run. She will be paid a fee for each show.
Gangsta Granny runs from Wednesday 27 – Saturday 30 June 2018, mornings, matinees and evenings. Tickets are available from The Sands Centre Box Office on 01228 633766 or online at thesandscentre.co.uk.
