Arrest made after man suffers broken jaw in Ulverston

[O]fficers investigating an incident where a man from Barrow suffered a broken jaw are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

An alleged assault took place in New Market Street in Ulverston on the evening of Saturday 10 March 2018 at approximately 11pm.

A 23-year-old man from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently in police custody.

Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen the incident.
