Man arrested after criminal damage incident in Ulverston

A man has been arrested following a criminal damage incident in Ulverston.

Police were contacted at 3.07pm today (12th March) following a report that a man was causing damage inside Coral on Market Place.

The man then went into a nearby Tesco store and caused damage whilst inside there.

Officers have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage. He has been detained for questioning.

Police would like to reassure the public that the incident has now been resolved and are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
