[P]olice are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a lorry.
The collision, which involved a red Scania HGV and a male cyclist occurred on the A6 Beetham Road just outside Milnthorpe at approx 7:23pm on Wednesday 14 March.
The cyclist, a 31-year-old local man sustained significant injuries and was taken by ambulance to Preston Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a stable condition.
His family have been informed.
The HGV driver, a 42-year-old local man was not injured, he is assisting police with their enquiries.
The road was closed until midnight while specialist officers examined the collision scene.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have driven the route around this time and may have seen the cyclist prior to the collision.
