Second places were awarded to Years 1 & 2 in the Infant Action Songs class, the Year 6 entry for the Spoken Word Challenge, which was represented by Toby Dobson, Kai Hall, Charlotte Harnwell and Joe Reay, Ilaria Ball and Charlotte Harnwell (11 years and under Duologue class (play)), Lucy Hetherington (Prose Reading 9 years and under) and Paisley Cater (Solo Verse Speaking Girls 10 years and under).

All children returned to school proudly carrying certificates and trophies, which included The Eden Cup, The Hunter Hall School Shield, the Ackworth Trophy, the Girl Guides’ Challenge Cup and a silver cup presented by Mrs Trimble.

Donna Vinsome, Head Teacher at Hunter Hall School said: “Once again we were delighted to take part in the festival and celebrate the Arts. It was a wonderful forum for the children to practise their presentational skills which will hold them in good stead for later life. They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and supported each other brilliantly. We are very proud of their achievements.”
