Man arrested after lorry crash on B5277 near Lindale

[A] man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a road traffic collision on the B5277 near Lindale last night.

Officers were called to reports of one vehicle collision involving an HGV, at 10:22pm on Thursday (March 22nd).

The road was closed between Back Road and Lindene Drive.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

“He is currently in police custody.

“The road was fully reopened at around 3.30am this morning (23/3/18).”
