Police appeal after collision between car and pedestrian in Carlisle

[O]fficers investigating an incident where a car collided with a pedestrian on Wigton Road, at the junction with Dunmail Drive, Carlisle, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The collision occurred on Wednesday, 27 February 2018 at around 6.40pm.

A 47-year-old woman was struck by a red Toyota Yaris. She required hospital treatment but was subsequently discharged.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or the moments leading up to it.
